My husband and I live on a farm in Beaverdam, Virginia. Faith and family are the most important things in my life. And family includes my horses, dogs, and cats.

Our children are grown and on their own now. Our current family at home includes 2 horses, 4 cats, and two dogs. My passions are animals and photography. I love capturing images of animals, wildlife and nature. My home studio is in my

barn !

Mission

My mission in life is to help neglected or abused or unwanted animals in any way that I can. Revenues from photography are used to support shelters, foster facilities, rehabbers, and others who assist God's creatures. 100% of all profits are donated to these organizations.

For the love of animals, wildlife, and nature

I have always loved all animals and nature. My earliest memories are of when I was 3 years old and riding my horse Patsy. My first "best friend" was my dog Snowball I got when I was 2 years old. I can vividly recall the excitement of going on walks in the woods with my dad when I was very young. As an adult I became interested in photography and taking live images of all types of animals (domestic and wild) and nature. I have been fortunate enough to visit all 50 states and most of our national parks.

My mission in life is to help neglected or abused or unwanted animals in any way that I can. That is way I decided to use my passion for animals and photography to support local, regional and national organizations that assist animals in any way. This includes; shelters, foster facilities, and rehabbers. I donate 100% of all my profits to these organizations. I have included a list of the organizations below. Who do you contact when you need to help an animal?

One day my husband an I noticed two young orphaned foxes near the culvert of a church driveway. They were very young and in desperate need of the services of a professional rehabber. It took us several hours to locate one who was finally able to rescue the the young kits. Later I did more research and discovered that there was not a single good resource for locating assistance for animals in need. That is why I created a list of shelters, foster homes, and rehabbers in our area. It is continually updated as we find new resources. Please see the page "Resources" here on my website.
